BRAIN INJURY - The silent epidemic.

Not only do we work hard at BVBIA, sometimes we have fun. Here are a few examples of some of our more interesting and fun events.

The Bulkley Valley Brain Injury Art Show exhibited many of the talents of the people we work with.

Bike Rodeos are a fun way to get kids and families involved in bike helmet awareness.

The BVBIA production of "There's Somebody Alive In Here" was a huge success and has toured in the region and to Prince George. The play was scripted by Valerie Laub of the brain injury association, but the stories came directly from people living with brain injuries. These students did a stellar job of acting out the words and experiences of some very special people.

The "Not So Desperate Housewives". Winners of the 1st Annual Smithers Amazing Race.

As prevention is the only cure for brain injury, we all take the job of community awareness and education very seriously.

You never know where we'll show up next!
